Briana Fitzsimons is an award-winning author, educator, DEI consultant, and PHD candidate committed to building inclusive, equitable learning environments across Ireland. With over 13 years of experience, she works with schools, community groups, and organisations to embed anti-racist practices, shift systems, and empower meaningful, sustainable change.Briana draws on her lived experience and her work as a parent, educator, and advocate to bridge divides and challenge injustice. She offers tailored Anti-Bias Anti-Racism (ABAR) training, curriculum and policy support, and strategic DEI consultancy across sectors.In 2024, she was named one of the Irish Examiner’s “100 Women Changing Ireland” and featured in the Irish Times’ “50 People to Watch.” As a co-founder of the “20 for 24” campaign, she is a leading voice in Ireland’s national conversation on race, equity, and education.Briana’s approach is rooted in care, courage, and community. Her learning spaces are compassionate, challenging, and deeply engaging — helping people examine bias, expand perspective, and commit to long-term equity work.When not facilitating or consulting, she writes and speaks publicly about race, identity, parenting, and systemic change. She lives in Ireland with her family and continues to advocate for a more just, inclusive future for all.
